Choose your palace or garden
Pena: colour, views and royal stories
If Pena is the palace you have been picturing, make room for it. Its colourful architecture and wooded setting invite you to look closely and discover the stories behind the details. On our tours, your guide accompanies you on the terraces. You can add an independent visit to the interior rooms with the appropriate ticket and entry time. Monserrate: gardens and decorative detail
Monserrate may appeal if you enjoy plants, architecture and time outdoors. Allow time for both the palace and the gardens, following the details that catch your attention. Roof restoration currently involves scaffolding and temporary covering on the palace; check the official restoration notice if exterior photography is a priority.
Regaleira: a shared sense of discovery
For couples who enjoy symbolism and exploring, Regaleira brings together gardens, architectural details and the Initiation Well. Consider the steps, paths and underground sections when deciding what you would both enjoy. A Portuguese lunch and local wine
A meal gives you time to sit, talk and discover Portuguese flavours. If you both enjoy wine, discuss a Colares tasting while planning. It deserves time in the itinerary, just as a palace visit does.
Our Full-Day All-Inclusive includes a traditional Portuguese lunch. Colares wine tasting is included when chosen as an activity in your agreed All-Inclusive itinerary. Meals and tastings are paid separately in Personalized experiences.
Time by the Atlantic
Azenhas do Mar brings the village and ocean into one view; Cabo da Roca offers an exposed headland setting. Choose the place that appeals to you and allow for the journey there. We help work out how a coastal stop fits alongside your visits, the weather and your return plans.
Photographs and special occasions
Tell us if this is a honeymoon, anniversary or another occasion. Your guide can help capture photographs along the route, subject to each site’s rules. If you have a particular setting, a surprise or sunset in mind, mention it during planning so timing, permissions and any additional arrangements can be discussed.
The private experience is for your own group with your guide. You will share public monuments and viewpoints with other visitors.

Is lunch included in a private tour for two?
A traditional Portuguese lunch is included in the Full-Day All-Inclusive. Meals are additional in Personalized experiences. Lunch is not included in either half-day format.
