I was a little taken aback with price 700 euro for 3 of us on a private all day NON inclusive tour, except tickets for Quinta do Regaleira. Walked through Sintra, stopped at a bakery while our guide filled us in on local history. Regaleira was amazing and our guide made the tour memorable with his research based opinions. The only caveat was that we didn’t get to tour the gardens!! When I asked the guide why,  he said we didn’t have the time based on our itinerary, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement but I assumed that the itinerary would be awesome and make up for it- I was wrong, we ended up driving around his hometown which although attractive was really of no interest to us and we would’ve been much better served spending that time in the gardens instead- big disappointment. The next disappointment was the wine tasting in Colares, the owner was with other people so no knowledge from the owner for us and the wine itself was absolutely awful! Our guide told us that he must have pored us newer wines, we couldn’t drink them, they were that bad and still got charged an additional 24 euro per person for the wine tasting- not impressive. Was our guide knowledgeable? Absolutely! Was the 748 Euro worth it? For us the answer would be a No, particularly when we compare it to other guided trips we did while in Portugal.

We have done so many tours all over - Italy, Amsterdam, Hawaii, etc., and this was our favorite ever. We cannot believe how much we saw and experienced. Everything was so beautiful, and it was the perfect balance of walking/hiking and riding in the tuktuk. The wine tasting and lunch were delicious, and it was an awesome way to relax in the middle of our adventures! Vera was so knowledgable. Also, she was so kind, warm, and friendly. We talked the whole time about our lives, TV shows, music, etc. We have a new friend in Portugal now that we have Vera! I will always remember this day and Vera! Thank you so much!

Our tour guide Pedro was very informative, made sure we saw everything we needed to, made sure we had the best angle of photos and even took photos of us on his phone and shared with us at the end. The weather was really bad the morning of our Sintra tour and Pedro was equipped with a couple umbrellas and made sure our tour did not disappoint. He recommended a great vegetarian friendly restaurant to accommodate our groups dietary restrictions and even treated us to some local pastries. We really enjoyed spending the day with her showing us around. We are a family of 5 with kids ages 16-20. We did the full day tour with visits to Monserrate and Quinta da regaleira and ending in Cascais. We had delicious pastries and coffee in the am and again mid morning. Cláudia showed us around the old town as well. Lunch was delicious! Cláudia was also super knowledgeable about the gardens in Monserrate. She also took amazing pictures of us.  Verified Amazing family day with teens We had an amazing day with yes you deserve. We are a family of 5 with 3 children ages 16-20. We did a pick up from where were staying in Lisbon and ended in Cascais for dinner on our own with a ride back afterwards. Cláudia was awesome. She was so knowledgeable especially in regards to everything local and especially helpful with the gardens in Monserrate for which she had an incredible knowledge of the botanical gardens. My husband and I had a flawless experience from start to finish, from Daniel sending detailed videos/ questionnaires and information to tailor the experience. We are so beyond grateful we hired a private tuk tuk and we were blown away with our driver Leo, he was so incredible, so knowledgeable of all the history, personal, fun and so kind! We would not have had the same experience doing it on our own. Sintra is very spread out and we wouldn’t have know where to start and never would have learned all the history that was shared. Leo also took SO many photos of us, which we were beyond grateful for! Would highly recommend to anyone, you will not regret this! We are so thankful for this experience!

Daniel of Yes, You Deserve did a fantastic job catering to our specific needs and restrictions, especially traveling with a three and five year old. He made it fun for everyone and even changed the itinerary on a dime given the circumstances. It was a fantastic day full of history and clever anecdotes about the sites we were visiting. We had a phenomenal day with Pedro! The car pick-up from our hotel was on time (early actually). We followed-up their Yes, You Deserve!’s recommendation to get breakfast at Casa do Preto which was fantastic as well. Pedro took us around to Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira in the tuk-tuk. He really made sure that we were comfortable and the day was enjoyable throughout. He provided blankets when needed in the cooler part of the mountain, waters, and even had a surprise phone charger available when my phone ran low on battery from taking photos all day. My wife and I had my 7-year old son with us and 70-year old parents, and Pedro was extra accommodating making sure the walking point were more walkable for us. He totally went at our pace with no rushing (however it was clear he was managing our time throughout the day). The stops at Pena and Quinta far exceeded all of our expectations. Pedro’s knowledge of the places, story telling and ability to point out the details really made the history and magic come alive. He knew all the best spots and times to grab photos so we were able to get many family photos in (without having to do a bunch of selfies). We went on a Sunday, which made some of the stops have some more traffic than say, a Wednesday, but Pedro navigated all of it without us having to worry about a thing. The Portuguese restaurant was incredible. Highly recommend the grilled octopus. Coming down the coast to Cascais was very relaxing and Pedro really allowed to enjoy each of the stops will providing fun facts with fit in seamlessly with our casual conversation. We are VERY glad we decided to book this day with Yes, You Deserve!

Daniel Ponce is worth all of the hype! We chose an all inclusive family tour with him yesterday and it was such a treat for us! We typically avoid tours as I am more introverted and we have 3 children to wrangle🤪 I am so happy we went for it. Every detail was taken care of. He was wonderful with our children! Transportation to and from our apartment in Lisbon,(car seats provided in all vehicles) early breakfast drop off, traditional Portugese lunch at a family owned restaurant, (amazing!) so many stops, no navigating for us, all fees included, the best pizza for dinner that I have ever had, and a ride back to our apartment at the time we chose! AMAZING DAY❣️ I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, but my parent moved to Canada when I was 8 and over the years I have not come here very often. Yesterday I learned more about the history, the meaning behind certain thing, the love, compassion and romance of Portugal. This one day AMAZING beyond my expectations🇵🇹 We did a tour with Daniel Ponce. He truly, in one marvellous day has given a new understanding of what this country is and made me even more proud about my country of birth and my heritage. He is extremely knowledgeable, explaining everything. Showing you every little tiny details, that many will not notice or even know to look for. He is funny and quick to see what interest you, which then changes the path he takes you on through out the day. On top of that he is an amazing photographer and took beautiful pictures of my husband and I. This truly was a magical Day in a Fairytale place. Everything about it was a five out of five stars! The professionalism of the staff, all of my inquiries were answered in a timely fashion and we loved our tour guide Pedro. As I was planning our family of four trip to Portugal I knew we wanted to visit the Sintra mountains with it’s beautiful gardens and palaces.   Do we do a self-tour with the buses and no guide or do we spend the day with someone who knows the area better than anyone else?   Do not spend the time thinking about this…reach out to Daniel Ponce @ Yes, You Deserve! Tuk Tuk Tour in Sintra by Daniel Ponce!!  It will be an experience that you will never forget. We worked with Daniel on the sites we wanted to see…Quinta de Regaleira, Monserrate Palace and Gardens, Cabo da Roca, fabulous views of Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle…just to name a few.  He had special spots and stops along the way via his Tuk Tuk, including an amazing lunch.  The day ended in Cascais, which was absolutely beautiful.   We never ever could have done this by ourselves.  He captured us in photo’s all along the tour as well.    I made the right decision by asking Daniel to be our guide. We had a wonderful day with Victor! He was very friendly and full of energy and explained everything to us in great detail. He went above and beyond with a wonderful lunch restaurant which had fantastic Portuguese food.  Our day ended with rain, but we fought through it in our tuk tuk and got to see the coast in two places. It was still beautiful. A very comfortable tuk tuk was the way to see Sintra! We were able to cut through some of the lines and Victor knew  exactly where to go. He was a pro! Yes, You Deserve is a great company and all of our transfers from Lisbon went perfectly. We had an amazing day with Daniel starting with his private driver picking us up at our hotel until our final farewell.  Daniel took us to many majestic locations from mountain tops to the seaside with wonderful storytelling along the way. He is very warm and engaging and made us feel welcome as new found friends!  We dined with the locals and enjoyed a very special lunch with some of the most delicious chicken we’ve encountered.  His tuktuk is first rate and very comfortable to ride in. If you going to Sintra take a tuk-tuk with Catarina who know all the history and stories of Quinta da Regaleira and Pena Palace. We spend the day with her and still talking about how great our trip was because of Catarina! I am 83 and didn’t know if I could go down the initiative well at Regaleira but she assured me I could and was with me the whole way! Wow so glad I didn’t miss this and the caves and waterfalls at the end ❤️ Thank you so much , I will never forget this day!!

Wonderful tour with wonderful company! I am so glad we chose Yes You Deserve for our all day tuk tuk tour in Sintra. We were greeted by our guide Veras at the scheduled 9 am time and got in our own tuk tuk. We weren't expecting it to be so chilly in the summer morning but Veras was a step ahead and provided us with blankets being which we were so grateful for. She was so knowledgeable and funny. We were able to visit Quinta de regalaria which was the highlight of the tour. It makes such a huge difference being driven around instead of having to wait for the crowded buses and also allowed us to see so much in one day that we would have not been able to alone. We also loved the place she took us for lunch, a local spot, with delicious authentic Portuguese food. Our final drop off point at the beach side town of Cascais was the perfect end to a wonderful day. I highly recommend this company.
