If this is your first or only day in Sintra, we recommend the Full-Day. Eight hours gives the day a more relaxed rhythm, with room for more of Sintra and the coast and a traditional Portuguese lunch. Choose the Half-Day if you have one clear priority or deliberately prefer a shorter experience. More time can also allow for better pacing and breaks.

Both experiences include your private guide, transport during the tour, private pickup and return for guests staying in Lisbon or Cascais, and tickets for the monuments agreed in your itinerary. Colares wine tasting is included when chosen as an activity. The Full-Day also includes a traditional Portuguese lunch and an optional planning call with Daniel when useful. The Half-Day does not include lunch.

Yes. We arrange private pickup and return for guests staying in Lisbon or Cascais. The Half-Day’s four-hour duration includes the transfers. Your return time and place are agreed beforehand. You may enjoy free time after the tour and return later, even after dinner, without extending your guide’s time. Dinner is not included.

Yes. It is your own group with a private guide. You will not be joining another group. We arrange suitable transport for your confirmed booking.

Tell us the places you most want to see and the pace you enjoy. We will suggest a route that makes sense for your chosen duration, with time for the visits and activities you agree. The Full-Day allows 1 monument inside plus 4 activities, 2 interiors plus 2 activities, or 3 monument interiors. The Half-Day allows 1 interior plus 1 activity, or 3 activities without interior visits. We recommend choosing well rather than trying to fit in everything.

A traditional Portuguese lunch at a local family restaurant is included with the Full-Day. Lunch is not included with the Half-Day. Please tell us about dietary requirements while we plan, so the team can confirm suitable arrangements.

All ages are welcome. Children aged 6 and above can generally join the tuk-tuk experience. For younger children, we arrange a suitable private car or van. The team still needs to confirm vehicle suitability and the specific booking. For seniors, we plan around the pace and breaks you prefer; a Full-Day can give you more room to take your time.

Please tell us about walking, steps or vehicle access that may be difficult before booking. We will discuss suitable places, pacing and transport, and confirm what is possible for your group. Sintra’s hills and historic monuments vary in accessibility, so we do not assume every route will suit everyone.

We coordinate your agreed tickets and entry times to make the day run smoothly. Security checks and entrance queues may still apply, so we cannot guarantee that every line can be skipped.
