A private day in Portugal can feel special through the places you choose, the people you share it with and the details already arranged. For Yes, You Deserve, this guide focuses on the All-Inclusive experience in Sintra and Cascais, with pickup and return from Lisbon or Cascais.
Before choosing a private or luxury tour, look closely at what the booking provides. The useful details are the guide, transport, ticketed visits, time and meal arrangements. Here is how to think through those choices for a day in our region.
In this guide
A private day, with clear arrangements
A visit feels personal when the choices make sense for the people taking it. Start with what your companions enjoy: a palace interior, time among gardens, a coastal pause or a tasting. Then agree what belongs in the day and how much time you want to set aside.
With Yes, You Deserve, the All-Inclusive is for your own group. A private guide and transport are arranged for the booking, with monument tickets for the agreed itinerary. The route is planned within the chosen duration and the practical conditions at each stop.
Comfort you can confirm before pickup
Private pickup and return are included for guests staying in Lisbon or Cascais. Agree the starting point, return arrangements and any needs that will affect the day before booking. A clear meeting plan is a useful part of the service.
Share your group size, children’s ages, luggage and any difficulty with steps or boarding a vehicle. We can discuss suitable transport and walking choices. For the terrain at the attractions themselves, see our Sintra walking guide.
Choose what gives your day its character
Comfort also means making choices that leave room to enjoy the visit. Use your priorities to shape the route, rather than trying to collect every possible stop.
| Your priority | What to agree |
|---|---|
| Palace interiors | The monuments, ticketed areas, entry times and guiding arrangements for your visits. |
| Coast and scenery | Which stops fit the route and how much time to leave for them. Weather and visibility vary. |
| Wine | The tasting you choose, where it fits in the day and whether an upgrade supplement applies. |
| A seated meal | The Full-Day includes Portuguese lunch. Share dietary requirements so suitable arrangements can be confirmed. |
For ideas on when the extra coordination is useful, read our guide to private tours in Sintra. This article focuses on the inclusions and choices behind the booking.
Colares, lunch and optional additions
Colares wine tasting is included in the All-Inclusive when you choose it as an activity in the agreed itinerary. That gives a day in Sintra a different focus from a sequence of palace visits. Tell us whether wine is a priority when the route is planned.
The published offer also has a fortified-wine tasting at Binho’s Wine Bar as an optional upgrade. It carries a supplement and replaces the Colares tasting. Compare the current options on the All-Inclusive page before choosing. Our Colares guide explains how a tasting fits a Sintra day.
A traditional Portuguese lunch is included in the Full-Day. Lunch is not included in the Half-Day. Let us know about dietary requirements while planning, so the team can confirm suitable arrangements.

Time, tickets and a realistic route
Choose a four-hour Half-Day or an eight-hour Full-Day. The Half-Day includes transfers within its four hours, so it suits a more focused visit. A longer format leaves more room to discuss the combination of interiors, activities and pauses that matters to you. See Half-Day versus Full-Day for the decision in more detail.
Public attractions keep their normal admission conditions. At Pena, follow the official ticket and timed-entry rules. Confirm the visits and ticketed areas in your itinerary; the booked time and the journey between stops still shape the day.
Discuss possible changes with your guide. Adjustments depend on the remaining time, ticket availability and the arrangements already agreed.
Compare the total and the details
Use the current group and season prices on the All-Inclusive page when comparing options. Check the total for your confirmed party, the chosen duration, the ticket plan and any optional supplements. A per-person average and a total group price describe different things, so make sure you are comparing the same basis.
Before confirming, have the practical details clear:
- Your date, group size and pickup location.
- The places and activities included in the agreed route.
- Guiding, transport, tickets and any independent time.
- Meal arrangements and any optional additions.
- Walking, dietary and luggage needs.
Our private tour cost guide helps you compare what goes into a quote. If the tour is part of a travel day, include your hotel and bag plans too; see the luggage guide for those arrangements.
Questions about your booking
Will other guests join our private tour?
The Yes, You Deserve All-Inclusive is for your own booking party with a private guide and arranged transport. Public monuments and viewpoints remain shared visitor spaces with their normal tickets, opening times and rules.
How is transport arranged for our group?
Share your group size, ages, luggage and any boarding or mobility needs before booking. The team confirms suitable transport and pickup arrangements for your booking. Discuss any particular vehicle requirement while planning.
Is Colares wine tasting included, and can we choose an upgrade?
Colares wine tasting is included when selected as an activity in your agreed All-Inclusive itinerary. The fortified-wine tasting at Binho is an optional upgrade with a supplement. It replaces Colares rather than adding a second included tasting.
What does the Full-Day add compared with the Half-Day?
The Full-Day is an eight-hour private tour with a traditional Portuguese lunch included. The Half-Day is four hours including transfers, with lunch not included. Your visits are agreed for the chosen format, taking account of ticket times, travel and the pace that suits your group.
